Join the Calgary Women’s Jazz Collective (CWJC) for a special celebration of our 2026 scholarship recipient - and help us inspire the next generation of women in jazz! Each year, CWJC awards a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving young woman, ages 18–30, pursuing further study in jazz. Through this initiative, we aim to encourage, inspire, and develop young women in jazz while helping to bridge the gender gap in the genre. With women currently representing only 6% of jazz instrumentalists, there is important work to be done. Come enjoy an exciting evening of music, celebrate emerging talent, and be part of creating greater gender diversity on the jazz stages of the future. Please consider adding a donation to the 2027 scholarship fund when you purchase your tickets.
